故事在以千叶爆发的流行病为背景展开。 结束垒球部活动而回家的水上梨梨（樱田日和），虽然和垒球部的成员们一起逃到了避难所里，但新的感染者不断出现，她费尽千辛万苦，才总算逃了出来。 出现在她眼前的是幕张的购物中心，年龄、职业都各不相同的年轻男女们固守在此，过着积极向上的“特别”生活。走出去就是遍地僵尸的地狱，但购物中心里却是物资过剩的安全地带。 在此极限的状况中萌生出“越是如此才越要恋爱！”的想法在彼此间交错混杂的人间百态。 究竟，谁会和谁喜结良缘，共同逃出生天呢？。The year is 1989.
