故事发生在20世纪30年代，日本帝国主义悍然发动侵华战争，贪婪的铁蹄无情践踏这个古老的国度和苦难的人民。乱世之中，两个背景全然不同的小人物命运不仅发生改变，还由此衍生出一段奇妙的姻缘。 自幼父母双亡的贼骨头张三（孙红雷饰）所在的城寨被日本人剿灭，他逃难之际沦为日本的劳工，之后凭借神枪手的绝活阴差阳错加入了八路军。排行老四的李娴淑（海清饰）出身财迷的乡绅家庭，她喝过洋墨水，美丽的外表下是火爆倔强的性格，为避免日本人的纠缠曾当过国军团长郭闻志（郭昊伦饰）的未婚妻，但在家国大义下终于和对方分道扬镳，继而邂逅张三，一段军旅爱情传奇由此上演……。太后行宫养胎，皇上亲自照料。皇后误疑皇上有外遇，趁皇上不在闯入太后房，纵容下属辱骂羞辱。太后表明身份，皇后等不信，反变本加厉折磨。皇后行为恶劣，太后受尽屈辱。皇上归来，后果未知。。Tom, a married man with kids, is struggling at work when a client tries to seduce him with promises of a 'more exciting life'. On his way home one night he gets attacked by a gang of hoodies and falls into a parallel world where he lives 5 other lives including a Rock-Star, a Homeless person and the 'hoody' that attacked him. These lives help him to re-evaluate his priorities and values but in order to get home he must face some of his deepest desires and fears. Will he make it home or is the grass greener on the other side?。
