Today is Jimmy's last day alive. Having been diagnosed with Alzheimer's, he's decided to die like he has lived - with intention, humor, and a spoonful of zest. As his last day progresses into night, he tells the story of his past to an upcoming journalist, his present to his death doula and his future to a gentle otherworldly being. As his caretaker, friends, his estranged brot...。以清洁房屋为生的单身母亲罗丝（艾美•亚当斯Amy Adams 饰）高中时曾是风光一时的校啦啦队员。当年男友迈克（史蒂夫•赞恩 Steve Zahn 饰）终于另娶他人，罗丝却与身为警察的迈克依然保持情人关系。罗丝八岁的儿子奥斯卡（杰森•斯佩瓦克 Jason Spevack 饰）因捣乱被学校开除，罗丝决定送儿子入私立学校学习。迈克告知罗丝犯罪现场清洁有利可图，于是罗丝与失业的妹妹诺拉（艾米丽•布朗特 Emily Blunt 饰）组成“阳光清洗公司”，专门清洁犯罪、事故现场，而做小生意的父亲乔（阿兰•阿金 Alan Arkin 饰）暂时照顾奥斯卡。可公司起步没多久，却因诺拉的失误造成了无可挽回的损失，姐妹二人也因此不欢而散…… 本片被提名2008年圣丹斯电影节评委会大奖。。
