故事的主人公是一个魔术师，他经常在现场邀请嘉宾与他一起表演看起来很恐怖的魔术，像是把剑穿过嘉宾的身体等等。不过更恐怖的还在后头，那些参与过这种表演的嘉宾，后来都一一死去，死法就跟魔术师曾经表演的一模一样……。Photographer Greg Nolan meets Bernice, and loses both his job and his apartment. However, Bernice manages to get him a new apartment, but it is so expensive that he has to get two full-time jobs. Nolan has trouble finding time to do them both without his bosses finding out.。
