吴州博物馆的震馆之宝，一只价值连城的明代成化斗彩杯不翼而飞，引起吴州各界人士的恐慌。公安局立即组成侦破小组，全力追回失窃的国宝。从现场遗落的毛发上取得的DNA确定此窃贼为公安部全国通缉要犯，绰号“飞鼠”。然而，盗贼偷的杯却被扒手调了包！众人惊愕，整个案件变得扑朔迷离。部里，省厅一天十二道金牌，压得公安局长喘不过气。不得不请来素有“常大爪”之称，令全省扒手闻风丧胆的反扒英雄常青山。常青山临危受命，精选出反扒别动队，却引来领导们的非议：局里五上将、拼命三郎多的是，却偏偏选中她俩人？许君英武功精湛，反应敏锐；陆晓虹头脑清晰，心细如丝，电脑、英语、射击、驾驶样样精通。领导们没了脾气，唯一的要求就是尽快找到成化杯，完璧归赵。“三人帮”开始行动，同刑侦队配合，明暗两线，双管齐下。与此同时，江湖上分帮结派的专业扒手对流失的国宝各怀鬼胎，蠢蠢欲动。两江帮帮主千手观音...。In this bitingly satirical film Peter Slovan, a continuous source of trouble for the film functionaries of the socialist Slovakia, tackles an evergreen topic – the corruptive effects of power. Barnabáš Kos, a triangle player at a symphonic orchestra, is suddenly promoted to serve as the head of the said institution, even though both he and his superiors deem him completely unfit for the task. Encouraged in equal parts by this unexpected recognition and the servile praise of his colleagues, Kos’s modesty starts to gradually vanish. The erstwhile bashful and aloof percussionist quickly becomes aware of the advantages of his new office, and begins to realise his increasingly ludicrous artistic ambitions. Ultimately, the submissive marionette turns into a source of public humiliation, and his astonishing career finds an abrupt end. Orchestra serves here as a microcosm that grotesquely reflects the absurd and tragicomic mechanisms of the paranoid apparatus of power.
