二次世界大战的美国，日本人都被强制送入集中管制所，在美国生活的日裔美国人也是遭此待遇。为了走出战争时的困难状况，一个日裔家庭决定在管制所举办棒球训练营，用棒球来寻求自己的生活出路。。A young woman (Rosemary Wilcox) is haunted by pop-Freudian dreams of her recently murdered psychologist (and lover), so for some reason she goes to a resort where the psychologist liked to hang out and becomes involved with a gangster (Adolf Celli) and the strange female resort owner (Alida Valli).
