「下山メシ 高崎篇」では、群馬県高崎市のシンボル・榛名山（はるなさん）を訪ね、富士山のように整った形が特徴の榛名富士を登ったあと、榛名湖畔の食事処・大蔵坊（だいぞうぼう）こばやしを訪れる。わかさぎフリッター、メンチカツコロッケ（メンコロ）など揚げ物とともにビールを楽しみ、高崎名産の小麦粉を使ったうどんで満腹に。番組初となる“デザートタイム”も設けられ、高崎産フルーツをふんだんに使用したパフェやパンケーキで締めくくられる。。A struggling freelance writer, while investigating the transvestite night life, stumbles across a serial killer in action. The two then strike up a bizarre partnership to document the killer's motives and handiwork as a possessed detective struggling with his own personal demons tries to solve the crimes.。
